Time was never intended to be a grind, I don't think. I hate how it's depicted as gears in a watch, so artificial and unyielding, relentless. Time may be steady and methodical, but it is hardly oppressive. I see it more like the dripping of water that created the Grand Canyon, gentle but persistent. ~~GH
