This is very true. And not only that, but being solitary is essential to discovering who you are and what you believe, want, and are willing to tolerate. 

You must listen to the chaos in your head, and sit with it, and hold it close to your chest and become comfortable with it before connecting with someone else. Otherwise, you are avoiding yourself and only using the other person as a distraction, an object. 

Real relationships occur between people who understand their own flaws and are courageous enough to look them in the eye.
