They do have that talent for dignity, to make the oddest situations look under control.
With my Lucy, the claw is typically caught in the shoulder of a sweater I'm wearing. The solution is typically to take the sweater off and let her sort it out herself. Otherwise, blood may spill (mine).
One thing I've learned: do not mess with Lucy's claws. I even pay a vet tech good money to clip them - and it takes two of 'em!
